EXPERIENCE: |
Mr.
Connor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in
architecture (cum laude) from Spring Garden College in
Philadelphia in 1991, and his Master of Architecture
(MA) degree from Miami (OH) University in 1998.
He was the 1992 recipient of the Joseph L. and
Vivian E. Steele Fund Architectural Scholarship, granted
by the Greater Harrisburg Foundation.
Mr. Connor completed the Intern Development
Program (IDP) administered by NCARB and the
Architectural Registration Examination. He is a
Registered Architect in the states of Pennsylvania,
Maryland, and New Jersey and New York.
Additionally, Mr. Connor has also received his
NCARB certification.
Before
joining our firm in 1997, Mr. Connor served his
architectural internship at several established
architectural firms in Philadelphia, Harrisburg and
Lancaster, PA. In
his nineteen years of experience, Mr. Connor has been
involved in every aspect of architectural design,
including the design of numerous new homes and existing
home additions and renovations, the design of several
community and regional park buildings, new commercial
office buildings, renovations to existing buildings,
including adaptive reuse of historic structures,
projects for healthcare facilities, religious
facilities, banking institutions, retail establishments,
restaurants and numerous amusement park facilities,
including Hersheypark and DelGrosso’s.
As President of Kaylor Architects, Mr. Connor is
responsible for business and project development. He is
also responsible for project administration, project
schedules and budgets, quality control and supervision
of project design and staff, from conceptual design
through construction documentation, approval and
construction administration. |
