Hersheypark's Wildcat Roller
Coaster Station is located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. An all
wooden roller coaster, the Wildcat Station is no different.
From it's entrance ramp, to it's wooden shake roof to the
station itself, is a reflection to yesteryear. The station
and coaster were ready for the 1996 opening of Hersheypark.

The Elevated
Ferris Wheel building towers over the surrounding landscape,
at nearly 100 feet tall, visitors can see all over Hershey
and the surrounding areas while at the top of the ride. A
skee-ball game attraction at one end and an ice cream parlor
at the other end both reside in the building at the base
of the Ferris Wheel.

The Whip Ride building at Hershey Park was a ride which was lost in the
Agnes flood of 1972. The building includes architectural
features and details that were part of the original attraction,
popular from the 40's through the early 70's.

The Great Bear Inverted Roller
Coaster, station, maintenance building, and storage building
located in Hersheypark's Minetown area was the new major
attraction for the 1998 operating season. This ride is definitely “out
of this world!”

From the playful
entry building with its majestic wood columns, roof supporting
brackets, cedar shingle roof and cupolas, to the soaring
station building with its rhythmic pattern of wood arches,
board and batten siding, sweeping cedar shake roof lines
and impressive roof top cupolas, the Lightning
Racer buildings
have an almost timeless quality. Many park patrons and roller
coaster enthusiasts say that the station buildings for the
Lightning Racer rank right up there with the all time best
looking roller coaster stations.
