Working with
design build general contractor, Arthur Funk & Sons, Inc.
of Lebanon, Kaylor Architects, Inc. was commissioned to assist
the congregation of Fredericksburg UMC Church in the design
and construction of a new church and parish center facility.
The new 250 seat sanctuary is constructed in a half fan shape
which is intended to allow for the future expansion of the
sanctuary into a full 500 seat sanctuary. The new parish
center is designed to accommodate youth basketball and
volleyball while also serving as the parish center fellowship
hall with a raised stage and full service kitchen. Ten
classrooms, church office suite with pastor’s office and
library parlor, nursery with lavatory and accessible restrooms
complete the church and parish center facility. A drive under
drop off canopy, covered walkway and entrance foyer greet
parishioners and visitors to the church
