Constructed as an addition to an existing church and
classroom building, the 500 seat new sanctuary addition to
Bible Fellowship Church in Lebanon was designed to seamlessly
integrate into the existing facility. Built by design build
general contractor, Arthur Funk & Sons, Inc. the sanctuary
is punctuated by soaring clear spanning glue laminated wood
arches topped with an exposed wood plank ceiling. Seating is
arraigned in a partial fan shape to emphasize the
congregation’s focus towards the chancel area. A full
immersion baptistery is discretely concealed behind ornamental
wood railings. The unfinished lower level of the new addition
was constructed to permit additional future classrooms while a
large narthex connects the addition to the existing building.
A large drive under canopy, covered walkway, formal stair and
accessible ramp comprise the entry to the new addition.
